last updated: 03 November 2022

In order for us to achieve good results together, an open exchange in a pleasant atmosphere is important. Therefore, we ask you to adhere to the following basic rules when writing posts:

  • In your contributions, always refer only to the content put forward for discussion.
  • Please observe fair manners in the discussion, even if you disagree with an opinion. Avoid provocations.
  • Contents glorifying violence, contempt for humanity, racist, xenophobic, stigmatising, sexist or insulting content, calls for criminal offences, slander, statements damaging to business or reputation are of course unacceptable and will be deleted.
  • Refrain from posting commercial content.
  • Be careful what personal data you publish in your posts. These are freely accessible. You may not publish personal or person-related data of third parties. In order to protect the personal rights of affected persons, such contributions will also be deleted.
  • Please observe copyright law in your contributions. In the case of third-party content, the rights to this content must be released. Also mark quotations as such and indicate the source. For the expressiveness of your contribution, it also makes sense to use quotations only as a supplement to your own statements.
  • Please also observe the above rules when linking to other websites. However, we reserve the right to remove links if their contents violate the rules mentioned.
  • Refrain from creating multiple accounts or publishing the same comment more than once. We reserve the right to remove multiple accounts and posts.

Moderation and reporting of contributions

The projects on KOSMO are moderated by the respective project managers. As a general rule:

  • Contributions are checked for compliance with the above rules. In the event of violations, the moderation can delete the corresponding contributions.
  • You can report the posts of other users as offensive if they violate the above rules (code of conduct). In this case, the moderator in charge will be informed and the post in question will be reviewed.
  • In the event of serious or repeated violations of the rules of the Code of Conduct or misuse of other functions, individual users may be blocked.
